Rae began her real estate career back in 2006 after a decade of working in hospitality management and corporate events. While employed by the international real estate company RE/MAX, Rae was recognised as the top sales agent for Victoria and Tasmania for her strong negotiation skills and solid sales record.

Born in Hobart, Rae spent her early childhood years in Smithton before her family relocated to Launceston. She has travelled extensively, working overseas and interstate in both the hospitality and real estate industries. In late 2016 Rae returned home to Tasmania with her two young children to be closer to her immediate family (aka her ‘village’) and she hasn’t looked back.
One of Rae’s great loves is theatre performing and she is a professional singer. After securing the lead role in the Encore Theatre Company production of ‘Blood Brothers’, Rae was honoured to be the recipient of a Tasmanian Theatre Council Award - Best Female Lead in Community Musical Theatre.

As a buyer Rae did a couple of things that were very helpful and beyond what I expected.
Firstly we needed a loan to buy the house and therefore the bank needed to value the house. Rae arranged (in consultation with the incumbent tenants) to meet the valuers to let them in and show them around, and she also showed them some of the unsuccessful written offers to buy the house so that the valuers were assured that our offer was not above market value. Therefore the valuation process went smoothly.
Secondly at multiple times throughout the process Rae liaised with our mortgage broker and also to a lesser extent with our lawyers when they needed some information about the property that I didn't have. Rae also liaised with the seller whenever there were minor adjustments that needed to be made to the contract (the settlement period extended over Christmas, and the seller's lawyers knocked off for Christmas a week earlier than my lawyers did), so that everyone was reassured and agreeable and nobody was anxious or disagreeable.
I'm very happy with her and would definitely look her up if I wanted to sell something.

Why do I say this? I have sold a lot of houses over the years. What I was looking for in an agent was, a sound Professional . Ethical ....special expertise in the local market (Rae has lived experience in Launceston) plus I wanted one with considerable experience in Real Estate in Tasmania and interstate.
